Our Story

Jefferson Jellies was established by Gerald Leonick in 1975 while working at a New Orleans locally-owned grocery store.  Since then, his products have been sold in local groceries and used in many kitchens throughout the city.  They became everyday ingredients on the menus of many of New Orleans' top restaurants for over 40 years, proving that Jefferson jellies is New Orleans finest.  

Our Praline topping and variety of jellies including Mint Hot Pepper jelly, Cranberry Port Jelly and our signature Hot pepper Jelly are made only with quality, local ingredients and we continue to make our jelly the only way we know how, one pot at a time!
